Coinciding with Duncan Day on the Talyllyn Railway, the Talyllyn Tracksiders will be holding their Junior Model Railway Day on 3rd June 2010. The Llechfan Garden Railway will be running from 10.30 a.m.

Mamod Day on the Llechfan Garden Railway, held in conjunction with the under 14′s model railway show in the John Slater room in the main Wharf Station building. A day for the cheap n’ cheerful! Mamods and their many derivatives, battery locos, clockwork, etc. A day aimed at introducing the younger visitor to the delights of garden railways, with most of the trains being operated by the Talyllyn Tracksiders, the TR’s under 14′s volunteer group, supervised by their parents and assisted by some of the regular operators at Llechfan.

Please ask platform staff at Tywyn Wharf station for directions to the garden railway. Do not cross the running lines to get to the layout unless supervised by Talyllyn Railway staff.
